This thread is right in my wheelhouse but I have unfortunately been so busy this past week that I haven't had a chance to issue a coherent response.

Apologies if I re-hash any old ground here:
I have been using the X-H2S since release for mostly action sports (football/rugby) and in a nutshell the thing is just fantastic.

AF is superb - to the point that even when a fleeting moment occurs outside of where I am currently looking I can just point the camera and shoot and 99.9% of the time the shot will be in focus.

The ability to shoot up to 40fps un-cropped is probably the feature that I have come to enjoy the most (although I have yet to actually shoot any matches in 40fps). I find 30fps provides a good burst rate and the fact they are at full resolution was something I didn't really think I needed until I had it - I certainly couldn't do without it now.

I normally go out with the 100-400 on the X-H2S and the 50-140 on my X-T4. I happily shot sports for the past couple of years on X-T3 and X-T4 and while they are both perfectly competent cameras I definitely notice the refinements of the X-H2S when using them side-by-side.
