R2000 - red ink output is worse after head cleaning

Hi Folks,

I have an old R2000 printer that has been working like a champ for years. Suddenly the red channel isn't behaving. If I do a nozzle check in the morning it looks better (still not good) than it will if I try a few nozzle checks to head cleanings.

If I do I nozzle check and then a head cleaning, wait a bit and do another nozzle check the red is worse. I've tried doing test prints of only red, multiple head cleanings and windex on the paper towel cleaning routine but nothing seems to help. Is it time to move on to a new printer?

Thanks,

Richard
