Thanks. In regards to the highlight/shadow warnings, if I move the exposure slider all the way to the right and clip the highlights it should show up in the picture as a certain color indicating that area is blown out ?

Yes, red for whites and blue for blacks. If I remember correctly, both the thresholds and the colors are customizable.
