Looks good!
Is this the teleconverter in the 36mm extension tube? If so, it's a 2x Kiron MC7 optic teleconverter, not a 1.5x TC.
Larry, yes it is. I had forgotten you said it was 2X rather than the same as the Kenko SHQ TCs! The more I'm testing it, the happier I am.
...
I beg pardon; Was this teleconverter Larry's idea, or is the name just coincidence?
He's using the teleconverter I made from a 36mm Kenko (Promaster) 36mm Canon EF DG extension tube, with the optics out of a vintage Minolta MD Kiron MC7 2x teleconverter. The Kiron teleconverters had very high-quality 7-element multicoated optics and can be bought cheap on eBay, often for $10 - $15.
I described how I made it in the following post, in fact the second image in the post shows the exact teleconverter used to make the 'jet' and other images.

I still have and use the second one like it that I made, in fact the image in the following post from this thread of Jupiter through the Meade ETX-125 with the full-spectrum Canon M200 was taken with it:

You could build the teleconverter just as I did for under $45. I just checked and I see a Promaster Spectrum 7 extension tube set from Roberts camera with digital contacts on eBay (it even looks like an EF-S mount set, not just EF, and will also work) for under $26 and a Kiron MC7 2x teleconverter for under $17, both with free shipping.
