Something wrong with my shutter button or a specific config set?

Hello,

This week end I noticed something that is new to me in AF mode: the shutter doesn't release if I don't validate AF, being AF-S or AF-C.

I am always in back button focus mode and disables shutter half press AF confirmation.

Normally with those settings I'm able to AF recompose and shoot. Now if I don't have the green validation AF visible the shutter is not releasing. Meaning to shutter release I have to hold pressed the back button focus. So that's weird.

Of course when I set back the "release with shutter" setting, I get the AF confirmation at half press and it's releasing later on, but I don't like this "auto" shooting process.

The problem is present whatever eye-start AF is activated or not.

In MF the shutter releases as expected = anytime I press the shutter.

The camera is A7m1

Adapter LAEA 4

Lens is an old minolta AF
