Some remarks:

you can self drive, with a cheap rental from the airport. Staying in camps is affordable. You can walk, either morning or evening, in which case you must stay at the respective camp. There are also multi day rented treks. All gates seem to close at 6pm. Great abundance of wildlife, particularly between lower sabie and skukuza, where there is also an awesome coffee shop called nkuhlu. There is some level of migration. Some malaria, but not too much. Close to eswatini and Mozambique. Next time, sabie sands game reserve. Top camp is probably olifants, but many are good.
