Hello,

I am a new owner of Sony ZV-E10 with a 35mm lens. When in photo mode (with steady-shot turned off), I see a normal-sized image.

However, if I switch to video mode (also with steady-shot turned off), the frame appeared "cropped along the edges" / zoomed in, even though the settings are the same. Is this normal when shooting videos, or is there some setting that I do not understand that is "trimming" the size of video image frame?

What you are seeing is going from 3:2 photo to 16:9 for video.

There's also an additional 'crop' ~1.23x in 4k/30fps.

4k/24fps does not have that extra 'crop'.

Thanks! That 4k/30fps crop was exactly behind my confusion! I grossed over the technical details.
