It is a zoom, in use cases.

It is a macro lens, landscape macro, you get context, not for bugs eyes, but I am not interested in that. It will do short tele work and portrait too.

I combine that with the 16/1.4 which is WA, can do closeups, does landscapes, does low light.

That is my two lens kit for "travel" and nature photograpy.

It is also really small, like tiny tot.

One of fujis best lenses, when trying to build a versatile high quality, while still sticking to the "small" ethos.

I have the 18/2, the 35/1.4 and the 56/1.2. I've had the 16/1.4, 23/1.4, 23/2, and 50/2. I love the 18 and 35. Didn't care for the f2s. So I have always been interested in the 60. I hardly use my 56 - my carry around is the 18 and 35 because of their size and performance. I really don't like the move to larger, more 'perfect' lenses! I have wondered whether I should sell the 56 and get the 60 as I might take it with me more for the odd portrait and reach? The only thing that stops me is the out of focus background you get with the 56 when I do do a portrait!
