Z6 Dummy Battery (EH-5B not in stock anywhere)

I'm going to be working on a video project and I need an external power source for my Z6 (version 1 not II).

I've found the power adapter from Nikon, but not the EH-5B dummy battery. Everyone everywhere is out of stock.

I did search the forums and some have found other dummy batteries that work and when I checked them, most of the reviews were fine, but all of them had at least one review where the buyer got the "ERR" error on their camera and it was basically a brick that they would need to ship back to Nikon to have repaired.

Here is one example Kimaru EH-5b is saw posted on these forums, but that thread was from early 2021 and Nikon has updated the firmware for the Z6 since that thread was create. So my concern is that they may have updated the firmware to ignore that dummy battery (I mean, it's exactly the kind of think Nikon would do).

I actually have that model and it works fine in my D7000, but I'm really not interested in bricking my Z6, esp, if I can find the EH-5b which is only $50 (yes ridiculous, but much cheaper than sending my Z6 to Nikon for repair).

Has anyone else used that model of dummy battery in their Z6 with the most recent firmware (v3.4 11/10/2021).
