You are clearly not familiar with relaxation videos and nature videos posted on YouTube which garner up to tens of millions of views. And regarding the 3dio binaural mics - there is a much more expensive version with even more sensitive mics from the same company (same look, but black).

I'm not here to argue. I've done a ton of research and am not coming into the binaural world blind. I have 40 years of recording experience. I record in 5.1 surround and more recently record and mix for Dolby Atmos. There are many classes of binaural recording systems, but the Roland earbuds, at that price point, come with well known and published compromises. If anyone is willing to accept that, and it suits their needs, more power to them. I don't do action videos so I'm not interested in something that is readily portable.
