Agree totaly! Short but powerfull answer.

When I started, put all my attention in the gear.

Then I discovered that my portraits look flat.

Since I learn to connect and make contact, my portraits came alive!

Invest first in your social skils and create confidence.

When the sitter feels seen in stead of watched, you are well on your way
