You are on the right track. However, the MF button option you highlighted above is not what you are looking for. This just switches the camera from AF to MF when using full native MFT lenses. Most MFT lenses do not have a switch on the lens to switch between MF and AF, so you need to switch it in the camera settings. That is why you can assign a button to do this as you see above. When using a fully manual lens like you have, this setting won't make any difference at all.

The settings you would be interested in with your manual focus lens are those I highlighted below:

The Magnify option lets you zoom in which helps with manual focusing. Also Peaking can be useful as it outlines high contrast edges to show you what in the image is in focus while you are manual focusing.
