Is Old Fuji Color Better? Or Even Different?

When I first did a shoot with my T3 I was quite taken aback by how the raws looked in LR and C1

...because LR and C1 both have different sets of their default settings for different Fuji sensors...

- somehow much less obviously Fuji than H1 or T1 raws and I found myself dissatisfied with the raw converter interpretation of the in-camera auto WB.

...so there is no reason to blame the sensor itself for this...

Just my personal experience. I can get images more or less to look how I want them but as I said, I seem to have to spend more time on my T3 raws before I’m happy with the conversion. I do feel that Fuji, Adobe and C1 seem to between them be making RAF conversions look more like files from C, N or S. just my subjective view.

...and here is an idea of how to overcome this burden with the help of darktable, and I am now in the process of learning the workflow for that.
