Lake Tahoe long exposure blue hour

Climbed up to cave rock on Lake Tahoe to shoot a long exposure during the blue hour,

my super $18 tripod dropped in value to $12 due to I had lost the tripod plate before this trip so I couldn't attach my camera properly, had to improvise with a clamp.

I shot about a dozen frames using my variable nd filter. Such a joy to be able to just twist it to open up so I could focus and then twist it back to darken before exposing.

This was the one I liked the best due to the light dancing on the water

Some behind the scenes...
