Options for upgrading from a Nikon D5300?

Looking to upgrade my Nikon D5300 + 18-140mm kit lens, which I’ve used for 8 years. My budget is anything in the region or less than US$2,500. I’d prefer to have the following features:

  • good build quality and durable, as I’m hoping to use this camera for the next decade (or longer, if better)
  • better image quality than my D5300
  • weather sealed
  • full-frame (?)
  • not too bulky
  • decent battery life
  • suitable for the main uses set out below

Main uses of camera:

  • Family photos
  • landscape
  • travel
  • night / city skyline
  • aviation
  • nature

Initially considered the Nikon z5, but now inclined to go for the z6ii + z 24-120mm S (vs the 24-200mm) primarily as I understand AF and low-light performance are better + the possibility of firmware upgrades for the z6ii is generally higher than the z5.

Open to other brands & options, of course. Any recommendations and thoughts are greatly appreciated!
