Panasonic GH6 V-Log video noise
1

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Panasonic GH6 and I'm trying to shoot some V-Log videos. I have watched a lot of tutorials about how to properly expose V-Log shots, and also how to color grade it after.

The point is I think the video is too noisy. I'm a noob videographer, so I'm not sure if this amount of noise is normal or not. I'd appreciate if you could give me your opinion about the screenshots attached to this post.

4 screenshots. 2 without color grading, straight out from the camera and another 2 with a Panasonic V-Log to Rec.709 transform LUT applied (100% and 200% zoomed).

C4K@60FPS 10-BIT 4:2:2 | f1/16 | S180º | ISO 2000 | Dynamic Range Boost ON

* Note: In this camera, ISO 2000 is the minimum ISO base when you turn on Dyncamic Range Boost option.

Sorry about my English, it's not my native language.

Thank you in advance.

100% V-Log.

100% V-Log to Rec.709 transform LUT.

200% V-Log.

200% V-Log to Rec.709 transform LUT.
