Hi,

I have no problem with Lightroom at all. The images look great. But Lightroom was a little slow until I got a Mac Mini with M1 chip. Now Lightroom is quick and responsive.

Is really annoying when people take things out of context and that didn't start by you by the way. LR is totally fine I have no problems using it the problem is it is super slow in import/export. That is exactly what I said in my original post.

No, you didn't.

You also said this " but as a Fujifilm shooter the files it produces are really poor."

My bad and I apologize you're correct I did say that hahaha!

Okay I should have not said that and I understand and agree with others that have posted and said that there are "great photographers out there" that have created really nice stuff. I'm sure they have and so have I as well because I've been using LR for many years. The point is that since I started shooting jpegs with my XT3 I'm having a REALLY hard time trying to recreate the same jpeg look. The Fuji jpegs got some serious mojo and that "look". Lightroom's film simulations (to me) are indeed really really low quality and the color tones look terrible at times.

Now, if you never shoot jpeg for whatever reason, then you probably have not seen the difference that I'm talking about. I have shot both jpeg and raw and the color tones are definitely not as nice as the jpegs. I've played around with that and is really really hard to match the jpegs.

Now that it’s flushed out that you indeed did type that the Fuji output is really poor, why don’t you post one of your JPGs from your T3 and one from your T1 and show how the newer output can’t match it. Then show the result of PP the RAF file from the T3 along with the RAF and let some experts produce a version they feel represents one of the film sims that is in both the T1 and the T3. I think it’s time to support your commentary with some real world files. Nope, I’m not going to spend my time working your files to show how it can be with Fuji because I think you should be shooting canon. Good luck to you Batdude and I’m saying that with real feeling as another member of the ‘dude’ fraternity.
