you can easily adjust the shadow in photoshop. Otherwise you’ll spend quite some time setting up your lighting.

Here’s a couple shots from a large series for a womens fitness catalog.

spoke with the owner a week before the shoot and discussed light options including standing on plexiglass to reflect and “ground” the models so they don’t appear to float.

Didnt want to edit some 70 initial photos for the project so did careful setup of the set prior to the session

Shots are all almost out of camera. Many were. Only a few adjustments. 2 umbrellas on the background, tether camera I was able to adjust the background to roughly 250. Important to set your background separate from other lights.

striplight L/R on models and large Broncolor Para 222 modifier feathered camera left. Was the only light up front.

I’d have set up some shiny silver reflectors to eliminate any shadows on the ground if they were an issue. Last option would be to use another light as fill.

HINT:(Reflectors do not cast a shadow, an additional light will).

It was a 4 hour session and a lot of fun. Lighting setup handled all poses, clothing, tops, bottoms, side, back views Usual catalog series

Had some music, water, snacks - they usual hygiene factors necessary to keep everyone happy and energy flowing.
