The only reason why I use LR is because of (it's workflow, that's it!) but as a Fujifilm shooter the files it produces are really poor.

Lightroom is really easy to use out of the box. I would not describe its output as poor, but it is true that it lags behind the competition.

...Just because the workflows of the other packages are not immediately intuative, does not mean that they are not decent workflows. I'd suggest than anyone runs through a few tutorials and guides and take the time to learn how to use any raw converter - It really is a good investment of time (and it might wean you off Lightroom)

What is "intuitive" is highly individualized.  I don't find Lightroom intuitive at all.  I don't like that Lightroom gobbles up the images and stores then away in a large catalog.

I much prefer Caption One where you can use sessions. You can also use a Lightroom title catalog.  However, C1 has an option in-between where you can define a catalog that does not move your images - the catalog is a file of pointers to your original files - a cross between the standard catalog and sessions.  I find that the best of both worlds.

It seems that C1 is more oriented toward a Mac as the new rearchitected version 22 was developed first to run native on the Apple Arm architecture and ported over to Windows.
