I'm feeling bogged down

I've got several thousand RAWs to convert from the last year or so, and, after that, I'll have to keyword, rate, etc. them all. Also, my PC is pretty slow and RAW processing is a struggle for it.

I'm feeling trapped with all these files to process. I just want to get them out of the way, so I can focus on enjoying photography once more.

Any suggestions/tips/advice? I was considering having a free trial of the new Radiant Photo and let it do a few thousand files, and see what it comes up with.

Otherwise I would install Canon DPP and just convert a lot of RAWs at default.

Is that a bad idea?

Thanks.
