I shot with a D200 for four years, upgrading to a D7100. The biggest difference for me, given the subjects that I shoot, is that the D7100 has better autofocus performance at low light levels. By better I mean that the images with the D7100 are more uniformly sharp when shooting with a telephoto lens under dim light.
