The Right Kit for the R10

So I’m planning to buy a Canon R10 but I’m struggling with decision to get the Kit 18-45 or stick with one of my older 18-55 EFS kits and grab an adapter.  Is the 18-45 better then the old 18-55?  I do have other lenses I plan to use with my new R10 all from the EF line
70-200 f4 L
24mm f2.8 EFS
50mm f1.8
But I’ve got those loaned out to family so there is no immediate rush to get the adapter meaning for the short term I’ll only have 18-45 RF or the 18-55 EFS + Adapter.  I’ve searched for a direct direct comparison and found nothing.  So it comes down to is the 18-45 better enough to be worth getting or will I get just as much out of my old 18-55 adapted.  All this wile dreaming of buying a used 24-105 f4 L some day.  Not that it should matter but the R10 is replacing an XSI (450D) so this is already a big upgrade for me.
