Fine detail - how do they do it?
39

I recently switched from Sony FF to OM systems because my knees wanted a smaller lighter camera on my nature hikes. What I did not expect was the fine detail that the OM system could produce.

I have a 300mm f4, which was introduced in January 2016, so conventional wisdom would says it should not be as good as the newer lens. I don't know how much better a new lens can be.

The OM-1 has "only" a m43 20 mp sensor, and the conventional wisdom says that we need a 50mp ++ Full Frame sensor to get high detail shots, so How does the OM do it? 6 year old lens with a M43 20 mp sensor??
