SD9 plus Helios 44M f/2 - Swirly Bokeh
2

Lens design stolen from the Zeiss factory at the end of WWII - Biotar double Gauss arrangement I think - the said arrangement being known for it's swirly bokeh, a laPetzval. The lens is for full frame and I wondered whether the effect would still be noticeable on the 1.7 crop s-d/9

Voila:

Focused more or less on the tree at left. Lens focus ring has lots of travel - like a Sigma older 70mm macro.

Comments invited.

I've got another Helios, 44-2 this time, coming from the Ukraine ... hope it gets here.
