What makes the 24-70 2.8 a better higher cost lens then the 28-75 2.8

Looking at both the 24-70 2.8 and the new 28-75 2.8 what makes the 24-70 2.8 cost over double the price for a very close zoom range?

Is the 24-70 that much sharper and better in some way?

For less then the cost of just the 24-70 2.8  you can buy both the 28-75 and the new 17-28 for around $2100 VS just the 24-70 2.8 for around $2300

Is the 28-75 not as sharp at 2.8 VS the 24-70?

Any side by side test shots to see of them both at 2.8 at 28mm and 70mm

I paid a lot for my Nikon 14-30 F4 but the 17-28 could be just as good for most uses and at 2.8 for a much lower cost.

I shot my Nikon 14-30 next to my Tamron 17-35 on my two Z6s shooting all the same subjects on a tripod testing and the differance from 14mm to 17mm is only two small steps to get the same range. sharpness and focus speed was just as good on both of them But the Tamron is 2.8 on the wide end.

Thinking of selling my 14-30 F4 and 24-70 F4 and my older F mount 24-70 2,8 i still have and picking up this combo. Or selling the 24-70 f4 and older 24-70 2,8 to get the 28-75 2.8 and keep 14-30.
