Thank you for your explanation and the list of all of your camera comparisons. Most of those comparisons are for very old cameras (relatively speaking). I would suggest that you take a look in detail at some of the more modern cameras, like the Canon T7i (800D) which is the one I'm using, Canon T8i (850D), Canon 90D, Canon M50 MKII, or Canon R7 etc. Then there's the Canon R series and many many more.... I think you would see an amazing difference compared to those older cameras. Do you agree or not agree that they are better?

From my perspective, I'm amazed at what I get from my Canon T7i (800D) camera. I liked it so much, that I bought two more. They are great to use in our typical dreary Oregon weather in the winter. I could buy full frame cameras or other types and I would still see much more improvement. But this is mostly a hobby for me. I enjoy getting outdoors a lot and capturing images.

Here's another ISO12800 resized image. This is our Zoo Lights.

Here's ISO8000....

These are basically straight out of the camera as JPEGs. I don't take them as RAW and don't have expensive software to modify them. I am only using IrfanView.
