I’m using the Z7ii

So far I was using the 70-200 with a Arca swiss plate on a gimbal which allows for very easy and precise positioning. If I want to shoot vertically, the 70-200 can rotate.

Today I got my step up ring to use my current PL filter on the MC 105. The 105mm lens doesn’t rotate. I have a shutter remote trigger and a UBC plugged in on the side to feed a live view.

How do I rotate the 105mm? L bracket? Which one? Would it get in the way of the wires?

Thanks!

An L bracket is the obvious answer, they have cut outs for the cables.

I am sure I saw a device that attaches to the camera base, with an Arca Swiss foot below the lens which allows the entire camera and lens to rotate about the optical axis of the lens. It might be on a funding site, so maybe not available now. Maybe someone will have a link.
