UPDATE: 2 lb travel tripod -- happy with Fotopro X-2Aircross

General follow-up comments:

  • Still impressed by the quality of the tripod.
  • I have two caveats:
    • The twisting locks really need to be set firmly. So, after I've extended a leg, and twisted it to lock, I'll go up each segment and assure that it's snugly tight.
    • If it's a dewy morning, the legs can have some moisture on them and those slender legs become too slippery for me to easily unlock and loosen. I have a little 4x4 inch rubber mat that I use to grip and twist. 
  • I'd still love to see a review of 2lb tripods.
