Nikon Z vs Sony for travel
2

Isn’t the Sony alpha FF line better for travel than the Nikon Z line?  A 24-70 f4 (or 24-105) and a 70-300 f4.5-5.6 seems like the ideal set-up for my needs (no Nikon 70-300 even exists on the roadmap.). The Sony bodies are smaller, the lens line-up is more extensive, why do I keep waiting for Nikon to catch-up?   I have a lot of Nikon DSLRs but for hiking and travel, which is my main use currently, they aren’t as optimal as mirrorless.  I recent lugged my D850, 24-70 f2.8 and 70-300 theough Patagonia and there was just no need for the extra bulk and weight.
