The operators eye along with timing and anticipation have always been the most important things until very recently.

I am not getting any younger and I'm still "old school". How many keepers do you want and how many do you actually need". I still use the "old school" rule of shutter speed set to a minimum of 1/(2x lens focal length or equiv. focal length) when hand holding.

Photos below are with my Canon 80D and 1995 100-300mm L. No IBIS, no lens stabilization.

Beautiful, and I agree. That is actually an issue well I don't know if issue is the right word but, now I am spending more and more time looking and trying to decide what to keep and what to toss with the R7. Of course there are flat out misses those are the easy ones, but when you have 30 frames in a row to really look hard at to decide what you like best truly gets tiring. I am not a fan of post work anyway.
