Re: Eagle and Osprey wouldnt come out

Thank you, So far I am really liking the new camera, but it can be frustrating at times learning the new system. For instance on flying birds I get distracted by the subject detect boxes and watching it move around my view finder I sometimes forget to track the bird Lol . Other times the subject detect will grab a spot other than where I want focus to be on bigger objects like the heron and it doesn't like to let go. Now I do have a button to turn it off, but if say for instance it's an egret which in my area tend to be more weary of humans then the heron and it takes of before I can get the subject detect ironed out I misss the shot. Now if I am close enough for eye detect to work then it's a non issue. I believe subject detect works in this order it searches for eye then head then body then best spot I am guessing best spot is most contrast.
