That has not been my experience.

I have found much better smoothness using my Panasonic full frame cameras with INIS on when mounted on a gimbal.

However, shooting with ultra wide lenses can lead to corner warping if using five-axis stabilization. Hence I use ultra wide lenses with lens stabilization.
