About a month ago I purchased the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L mk III and unfortunately it fell off my desk onto a carpeted floor yesterday evening. Now I'm looking at the images to make sure everything is alright but it appears that at 35mm the lens is no longer functioning properly as backlit objects are showing a heavy bloom that wasn't previously there.

I guess I'll have to send it in for repair but if anyone has seen this before do you have any idea what could be wrong? I just want to make sure I have as much information about this as possible. I assume something knocked out of alignment.

The lens is still sharp and performs ok at 16mm.

Is this f/2.8 35mm?  Centre of frame or edge crop?

Is it still like this at f/4 and f/5.6? Looks like coma and similar to edges on say the EF 35mm F/2.0 at the edges at f/2.
