Re: Carbon tripod similar to Peak Design Travel Tripod but at half the price

K&F have their own budget carbon fiber copy. I got it from Adorama and it's even more affordable and it has a pano ball head. https://www.adorama.com/kfc9098.html

They also have one that is a literal copy of the Peak Design but I do not see available in the US yet (think Canada has it though). It's aluminum though. https://www.kentfaith.ca/tripods/KF09.105_compact-travel-tripod-aluminium-alloy-camera-tripod-15kg-33.07lbs-load-70%22-177cm-max-height-portable-flexible-for-travel-and-work

I like the A254c4 because of it's overall height and being a 3 section leg instead of 5. Without the head on it I can still fit it into my carry on as well. It's solid enough in terms of quality, and you can see there were some cheaper materials here and there to keep the price down. My Leofoto 224 felt really good, like really good quality, like as good as my Benro travel tripod; I would say the quality of this one is a half step lower, but still many steps higher than some of the really budget stuff you can find on the internet. I'd say the quality feels better than the Neewer stuff I've returned (most of the budget stuff uses plastic locks, etc, where as on the a254c4, everything is pretty much metallic (but not like always good quality metal from the feel).
