You beat me to it. Although I wasn't aware it was on the X-T4 as well - and there's me owning one!

More generally, this setting is a double edged sword IMO. In my Canon days it was always stored whether you turned the camera off or not. And in that regard, I lost count of the number of times I lifted the camera for a quick shot only to press the shutter button and have the timer pop up - so frustrating.

As I say, ups and downs either way. For me, I think I just about prefer NOT having it stored.

Is there no way to stop the timer by pressing the shutter again?

Not on the Fujis - or at least not on mine, unless I'm missing a setting somewhere?
