Thanks! I did the editing in Affinity Photo ($55), but clone tools are also in GIMP, which is free. I believe there are also clone tools in free raw editors such as RawTherapee, ART and darktable, but I did this after raw conversion. The nice part about cloning is it's done with a brush and can be reproduced relative to existing data so there's less chance (if done properly) of mismatches and such. Also, Affinity Photo has an "inpainting" tool, which is similar to Photoshop's content-aware fill tool.

Everyone seems to use it. I don't.

I have (soon to be had) the full PS, and I own PS elements 2022, so I don't really need AP, but everyone talks about it which makes me want it. Perhaps at Black Friday.
