Might buy a R6, is it weird to get EF glass?

Re: Might buy a R6, is it weird to get EF glass?

Like others in this thread my experience with EF on my R, RP and R6 bodies has been extremely positive. I'd add that my Sigma 50 Art is also a joy to use via the adapter - in fact I only bought that lens once I knew I'd finally be safe from the old Sigma AF lottery.

One thing that's worth noting - depending on how you shoot - is that using certain older EF lenses may hobble the H and H+ burst modes, at least when there's mechanical shutter involvement (full mechanical, EFCS).

For example, I only get around 6/7 fps with my 135L & 85 f/1.8. The same was true with my original 70-200 f/4 L IS USM. Newer lenses typically get the full burst rate,  e.g. 70-200 f/2.8 L  IS USM II, 35 f/2 IS USM, 24-70 f/2.8 L II. Interestingly the Sigma 50 Art also seems to get the full burst rate.
