Try them together and you tell us.

Should be ok, but older versions of Sigma lenses ("DL" or no "D-" designation) worked with earlier EOS (pre-1997 models) but would fail with "ERR 99" with later EOS bodies. Typically would AF ok and work with wide-open aperture, but throw the ERR if the aperture were stopped down.
