Greetings Jhnns

Hello, I bought a SD15 today

Good for you

and am now looking for a suitable telephoto zoom.

The older 70-200 f2.8 is an excellent lens also the 100-300 f4 works great on the SD's. Just remember the crop factor just cuts off the edges it does not bring your subject closser.

I do not have much money available.

i'm not sure what they cost, but I'd guess if you look around you can getone in excellent condition for about $350-$500 usd maybe less.

Can you recommend me something? I would prefer the Sigma 70-300, or the 18-200 or 55-200. I would like to use it mainly for wildlife photography. Thanks in advance!

you do not need OS just use a monopod as OS or IS doesn't work all the time. It can ever be worse using it.

Also do not believe the crap you hear or read about the Foveon not doing high ISO/ASA they can and will you just have to learn how to shoot the camera.

Here are a few images shot a few years back using the SD14, SD15 with the 70-200 f2.8 or the 100-300 f4.

good luck
