Thank you, Hand held , I try to capture them between pearchs and trips to the feeders and flowers. They will stop and hover for a brief period  on their travels that's when I try to grab the shot. I did see in another forum where someone had set up a strobe and was shooting them at 1/250 using the strobe to freeze the action. That seems a little to evasive to me so haven't tried it . Oh if you wear bright red hat or jacket they will fly right to you thinking your a flower lol. I will have to try to find the one I shared last year , it was actually very close to my lens . It looked like it was peaking in at me. 🤣
