Oh ok thanks, it's the same on the em10 mkiii as well. I thought it was the same on all oly cameras. I'll probably save up for an em5 mkiii then as that would be usefull for me to have a more robust in camera raw converter.

I honestly would pick the EM10MKIV over that one at this point. The AF is better, 20 MP sensor with no AA filter, better IBIS. But that's just my take. I think that Mark II is metal though.

Are you saying the em10 mkiv has better af then the em10mkiii or the em5 mkiii?

Better than the Em10MKII. How can it be better than the EM5MKIII? EM5MKIII has pdaf and it's a "higher tier" camera.

Just asking, my comment ended with I will save up for an em5 mkiii so it seemed like thats what you were referring to. I wouldn't have believed it anyway lol.

I find myself trying more in camera editing since I've been using oi share to quickly send photos, quite usefull really but wish you didn't need an app.

I certainly use in-camera raw often enough. But you can still put some parameters for the conversion, just more annoying you have to set up the "current settings" for that.

So the better in camera editing is really important for me. Do you know if the em5 mkiii cam transfere raw images through the oi share app?

Not 100% sure, but *I think it does*.

Also I'd rather go for the em5 just because it has phase af so it would give me more flexibility with other af lenses in the future.

The Em5.3 is nice, but I just can't stand that darn FAS. :-). Also the rear rubber thumb rest will peel off at some point. The EM10MKIV doesn't have that problem.

I'm not a die hard tilt only fan so no problemo for me. I see tye benefits for both. But I do a lot of vertical orientation shots so the Fas would imo be better for that.

Then get the EM5markIII. Sorry but thought you were talking about getting an EM10 Mark II?

Update: I misread what you wrote earlier. I see you were talking about the EM5MarkIII.  Yes, if you are ok with FAS, get that one.  You will also get the tripod high res which can work for product shots or static landscapes if that's also your thing.

If the EM5MKIII had a tilt LCD, I would probably be using it as my main or close to that.

As much as I like the EP7, I may consider the OM5 if it's small, has the right feature set, *and* tilt LCD.

I dont think they will go for tilt.

Me neither which means I am not getting one

For small, the camera needs to be able to fit inside a jacket pocket at least body + body lens cap. The EM1 series/OM-1 can't do that.
