Darn it, Canon, can you please do something about this?

We don't see turkeys very often, and I've almost never had a good photo opportunity with them.  A whole family of them walked by, and I managed to pop off several shots, without any time to review them.  Here's one of them.

Turkey, shot with incorrect manual ISO setting, thanks to an overly sensitive touch screen.  Canon M6 Mark II

What's wrong with this picture?  The touch screen.  Any unintended brush against the touch screen on my M6 II is likely to change a setting.  Typically, if you hang the camera from the neck strap, it will touch your shirt.  It usually selects either the ISO setting or exposure compensation, and almost always the wrong value.  In this case it gave me an ISO value of 200, which resulted in a 1/15s exposure time at 250 mm.

I try to keep the camera turned off when there is any danger of touching it, but that doesn't always work.  The touch screen is already set to the least sensitive setting.  I could turn it off, but then I would lose the ability to move the focusing spot by touch.

I assume this may be a common problem with other Canon cameras as well.  Does anyone have a good workaround for his on my camera?
