Nicely done PK.

Yup, I absolutely adore the 28-70 too. Beyond the expanded capabilities (being an f/2 zoom), it also imparts that “something special” to photos that the L Primes have always been known for.

I use it mainly for my event shooting, and couldn’t be happier. And wish everybody could experience its goodness at some point too!

I have building my R setup at much lazier pace than my EF-M and I am thinking of getting RF 28-70, 15-35/2.8 and 70-200/2.8, of those the 28-70 is basically the one that I need.

Yup, I find the 28-70 to be extraordinarily useful. The excellent IQ doesn’t hurt either!

The other lens that always accompanies me on sporting and event shoots is in fact the RF 70-200/2.8. Another simply superb lens. Practically flawless focusing, outstanding sharpness, and really special rendering. I can’t recommend these two lenses enough!

yes, and 28-70 at $3100. i would keep my EF 24-70 f2.8 mk2 (@ $1200 less) any time. i bet you anything that if an unbiased party tested both lenses, you couldn't tell the difference.

Any party who cannot tell f2 from f2.8 would certainly not be able to

I guess we can extend this to any F4 version too then?
