Alright all you monochrome shooters:

July is here and time to show your monochrome images for this month. Remember that all Sigma Cameras and lenses are welcome and an occasional image made with other cameras pulled from your archive Try to limit you post to 3 images and to give your post a title so that comments will be properly directed.

Lets shoot some monochrome images and have some old school fun. ;)

Interesting picture, Don. At first I thought it was just a spring, but now I see it with a shadow too .. very well thought out!

Very nice flowers, danski .. it's a shame that the photos are not bigger, that would be a taste! 👍

Peter
Thanks.

Not everyone has great internet connections, and the site will probably change something anyways. That's why I don't really get into the online image comparison stuff.

I also don't want to put up big files to be taken from the internet.

Perhaps not "thought out" so much as "try different arrangements and see what works".

Sand is the sun screen that elephant seals use to keep from getting sun burned. The pups learn this technique very early, as witness this lone pup sun bathing near Big Sur, California!

Ceiling in our holiday home in Germany. I liked the roof construction. I took two photo's, one in color and one in B/W. Color was awful and boring but B/W, well. Here it is...
