So there you have an example of that lack of sharpness I am facing with the R5

I think the camera is moving. But, that said, what happened when you put the cameras on a tripod and ran a couple of tests?

Ok, so here's a test I did at home under a controlled environment.

If we assume this picture is sharp, then I have to assume the problem is not the R5 but me (which was probably obvious from start).

Anyway, what is true is that "on field" I am not getting the same sharp results with the R5 that I used to get with the 5DIII, the 5DIV or the 5DSR. So my humble conclusion is that maybe due to the change to mirrorless, maybe due to now having to work with the pros and cons of an IBIS, or maybe both, i kind of feel I have to "learn again" to expose correctly., especially fast action photos.

PD. I know that picture is roughly 1 stop on the "dark side" but fot the matter it was sharpness what I wanted to test.
