Getting those top ISO settings working

Yes, that's a good point. Or, of course, modern AI software can provide the equivalent of a big hardware upgrade to your current gear. It's a lot cheaper than the equivalent hardware upgrade!

In the Sony A Mount forum, I started a thread where I made a 1-2 stop improvement with an ISO 6400 shot from an old A65.

In going back some of my old M4/3 higher ISO shots I also did feel that it was around 2 stops better, but never made "exact" determinations.

Pushing ISO 6400 back to what looks like ISO 1600 is a real help if that is what I can reliably do.

Usually with most cameras the top two ISO settings are some sort of bad marketing joke, but now with software we can turn the joke into something useful.
