I quite like the Caddie Buddy. Solid reviews on Amazon, great value, works well. I got the case since I loan it to a client on occasion, but you can skip it. https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Portable-Teleprompter-Optional-Aluminum/dp/B07M6SF835

It fits my Surface Pro 3, my Lilliput A12 and an iPad Pro 12.9 (which I have yet to buy).

I even use it for Zoom calls so that I'm making eye contact with everyone.

This guy reviews lots of teleprompters and still likes it years later: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U32T7s0Ee7s

This guy built a very cool rig with it: https://youtu.be/EZtY_p1WxM4

Some of the parts are plastic and I swapped them out for Smallrig gear I already had. My one issue is that the lever that controls the mirror going up and down simultaneously tightens it on to the 15mm rods, so just make sure you are level when making adjustments. I almost dropped it when pointing it straight down.
