I am looking in Ali express for a cheap remote control for my Canon EOS M50. I see compatibility, they dont refer to M50, but to 70D, 550D or 5D Mark II III IV, 600D, 700D etc. Would it be suitable for the M50? With which other models does M50 have common compatibility in remote commection? Thank you
Be careful, there are 2 different plug styles that Canon has used back and forth!
I’m not sure what the M50 uses. There might also be a Bluetooth wireless option.
Someone with an M50 should be along soon.

Thanks for the link (it looks workable). But sorry, not owning an M50, I can’t verify with 100% certainty.
