Just to put this out there, if you look at my galleries, myounwillnsee that I have photographed a few Eagles in my time.

so, I li ke your first shot quite a bit.  Don’t see any problems with the focus, but I do think it is a little under exposed.  I never shoot in jpeg, and with Bald Eagles that can be especially important, because with a raw file it’s a lot easier to lift the shadows while maintaining highlight detail, and I think their would be some nice feather detail within one stop on the underside of those wings.

As far as the second shot, I would be inclined to discard it.  Partly because the right wing gets lost in the tree, partly because focus on the eye and beak seem a slight bit soft.  Both of thos thing might not be major issues at normal print sizes and viewing distances, but I find the composition, with the bird flying out of the frame, to be displeasing.  There are times when that kind of compositional tension works, but not here.

One last thought. I see that these were shot at 1/2500 second.  I have successfully photographed Bald Eagles at much lower shutter speeds.  Dropping your shutter speed could give you a lower ISO or more depth of field.  It might be worth experimenting with.  And shoot in RAW.
