OK, first of all I really don't care if the OP responds to my comment or not. I don't rate my photographic self worth on what I have posted at DPR over the years.

Second, I am not sure what we are supposed to comment on. Is it that the camera tracked focus on the eagle as it flew in front of the tree? I kind of like the first image except for the branch to the right of the trunk that almost touches the eagle but removing it in post might look kind of hokie.

So in the second shot the eagle is hard to distinguish from the tree branch behind it. OK, like I said this proves the R7 can track a moving object but if I was culling my images and these were mine I would be clicking the X key in Lightroom to reject it from my keepers.

Never been a big fan of shooting the underside of birds, I guess it identifies them but it isn't a very flattering view. Yes, Eagles build nests high up in trees and they often soar very high up. I usually wait until the are lower to shoot but maybe that's just me.
